South Florida Folk & Acoustic Music Festival

For Educators: High School and College Levels

We are proud to be a sponsor of the South Florida Folk and Acoustic Festival’s 2026 Singer-Songwriter competition for residents in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. Please share the attached flyer with songwriters and music educators who may be working with creative students we would greatly appreciate your assistance. Applications for performers and songwriter will be open on www.sffolk.org website starting October 1 and ending October 31, 2025.

- A $15 charge to be entered for 2 songs
- The top 12 songwriters (from our pre-judges) will perform at Anne Kolb Nature Center on January 18, 2026 from 2-5 pm – Top 3 will then perform at the SFFAMF festival to take place Jan 30-Feb 1, 2026. They will also win a monetary prize which will be announced soon.

In addition, we will be offering a special rate for all music educators (public, private, college, etc) to attend the festival. We are hoping to boost attendance and really spread the word about the festival. It is amazing how many local musicians and people who enjoy this genre don't even know about us! (Details and ticket sales will be online in December - maybe sooner)
