Cecilia St. King, a singer-songwriter from South Florida, will be sharing her transformative power of music at the Marta-Beth Friedman Stirling Road Branch Library, 3151 Stirling Road in Hollywood on Sunday, March 23, 2025, from 3:00-4:00 pm and a jamboree and open-mic session from 4:00-5:00 pm. St. King is also a recording artist blending mindfulness with melody and inspiring social change. She is recognized by the United Nations, The M.K. As part of the Folk Music Series, the Music Club of Hollywood Florida continues with its lecture and performance series partnering with the Friends of the Stirling Road Library. This year's theme "Roots to Strings" celebrates folk music of the past as well as the future with the final series on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 6:15-7:30 pm, "Ballad of America", a presentation and performance by Matthew Sabatella on banjo and guitar.
